Returns and Repairs
Monsac's products are recognized for their function and elegance, and
it is our intention that our guarantee be as functional as our merchandise.
Our products are designed and produced to provide years of use and enjoyment,
and we guarantee them against defects in materials and construction as
follows:
MONSAC GUARANTEE: (No charge)
In the event that a customer discovers a manufacturing defect, such as broken
zippers, straps or damaged hardware, Monsac will promptly repair the item at our
expense. If repair is not possible, a replacement of equal value will be
provided.
REPAIR AND REFURBISHMENT:
As with any product, it should be expected that component parts
leather, feet, and hardware in particular will show signs of wear
with regular use over time, and may require refurbishment or replacement
of parts. Normal wear and tear is not covered by the Monsac Guarantee.
Monsac provides Free Standard Refurbishing services for normal wear, which
includes: cleaning and treatment of leather, dye/color touch up, polishing of
hardware, re-stitching of lining or straps, and replacement of functional hardware
(feet, zipper pulls etc.). There will be a $20.00 shipping and handling fee per
item and merchandise must be shipped via an insured delivery provider (i.e.,
Registered US Mail, UPS or Federal Express).
Services beyond the above listed are subject to review by our refurbishing company
and may incur additional cost. Completion is based on customer's agreement to
proceed with repair and will require additional processing time.
Not covered by the Guarantee or Refurbishment service is severe damage including:
cuts/tears in the leather, lining or fabric, accidental damage, permanent ink marks
and food or beverage stains that may have been caused by mishandling or misuse of
our products. Repairs of this nature will be performed at the discretion of the
refurbishing company and cost will be determined upon review of the damage. There
will be no replacement of merchandise determined to have severe damage as described
above.
Processing time for standard repairs and refurbishment is approximately 4 to 6
weeks.
All repairs
require a Return Authorization ("R.A.") number, which will be
provided by a Monsac Customer Service representative at the time of customer
contact. Merchandise sent without authorization will not be accepted by
our company.
RETURNS
We will accept returns of unworn purchases in their original protective
packaging within 30 days of your purchase date. You will be responsible
for a
ten dollar
($10.00)
restocking
fee for each item returned. Credit will be issued in the same form
of payment used for purchase.
All returns
require a Return Authorization ("R.A.") number, provided
by a Monsac Customer Service representative at the time of customer
contact. Merchandise sent without authorization will not be
accepted by our company. There will be no returns made after 30
days.
ORDER ACCEPTANCE/CONFIRMATION
Your receipt of an electronic or other form of order confirmation does
not signify our acceptance of your order, nor does it constitute confirmation
of our offer to sell. Monsac reserves the right at any time after receipt
of your order to accept or decline your order for any reason. You will
normally not be charged if we reject an order, but we will process
a refund if a charge has been made against you in error.
VALIDATING
YOUR ORDER
After you place an order, we will check the information you give
us for validity. We may require additional verifications or information
before
accepting any order.
ORDER LIMITATIONS
We reserve the right to reject any order you place with us, and/or
to limit quantities on any order, without giving any reason. If
we reject
your order, we will generally attempt to notify you using the email
address, telephone number, and/or billing address you have given
us with the order.
